flat spring no boing

Spring is heavier and doesn’t create that trampoline spring sound like a stock carbine does. If you’re running a select fire, FRT, or Super Safety I highly recommend this spring for your rifle or pistol to aid in the increased fire rate. I’ve gone through 6k rounds with it so far and no evidence of it failing so far. There is no need to purchase the other flat springs that are 5&6 times more expensive to get the same outcome. Unless you have money to waste. ������

Great addition to any AR platform!

I waited to review after a day at the range.
Before the flat spring install, my Freedom Ordnance FX-9 still had a bit of “ snappiness” even after the use of a two chamber Midwest Industries muzzle brake and the Odin works 9mm adjustable buffer kit, but with the addition if the Strike Industries Flat Wire buffer spring definitely smoothed out the pulse even more.
I also added one to my Bushy XM177 and it tamed to recoil somewhat, even with the stock flash hider.
You need this !

Great spring, like the compression of the flat spring. Inside diameter is .030 smaller than the average buffer O.D. (.75) Takes a little work but it will fit.

Works great, so far

This immediately went into a lower and worked flawlessly. Haven’t had a chance to run anything suppressed yet, but I am so looking forward to not hearing that screeching noise the regular round wire springs make.
