I use this ad replacement of new build all the time. It has a wide lever and can easily get a hold it of with gloves or otherwise. Matched with strike industries mag release and pins it really looks great for an economical price.

excellent bolt catch

This is a great practical size bolt catch with an anti-reflective coating and it’s a better price than some of the competitors out there, it’s not in the way and sits flush against the receiver.

Does not function correctly

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! the actuator does not reach out far enough to be actuated by an empty mag. I installed this on a Ruger ar-15 lower, and it doesn't work. I tried a P-MAG, an AMMEND2 mag and a Metal mag, it doesn't work with any of them.

Strike Industries is always a safe bet

My first purchase of a strike industries product was a QD mount for a sling and I was surprised by how well built and good looking it was. Since then I buy a lot of parts from strike industries including an adjustable mag release for glocks (hands down one of the best out there right after the OEM glock extended mag release).

This also hits the mark. Great ergonomics and easy to use. I was worried it might get caught and snagged on my gear but I havent had any issues so far.
