Sun Optics Adjustable Airgun Rings & Airgun Ring/Base Combos
I purchased the SM0037 high scope mounts. They are very tall, I think that a medium would have taken care of it for using a 60mm tube. They adjust easy and hold the scope solid. They seem to hold well, yet I'm using this on a Co2 air rifle and a night vision set up. A couple of caveats, the up and down adjustment requires a full turn of the base to keep the mounts both on the same side. This can over adjust, perhaps this is a way around this that I'm not aware of. Still a nice feature and beats using shims. The side to side works well and this can be fine adjusted. The biggest downside t...

I have a very heavy recoil spring air rifle. It loves to kill scopes. A scope manufacturer rep. told me that my air rifle will eventually kill any scope on the market. As you can imagine I was quite surprised! He also said that to give a scope any chance to handle the recoil involved that I would have to keep the scope as centered as possible by shimming it. I thought to myself that would take a ridiculous amount of time. Then I found the Sun Optics Adjustable Airgun Ring/Base Combo Sun Optics makes.
I got a some from Opticsplanet and installed it. It worked great! In a short time I was able to zero my point of impact on target and keep my scope turrets on zero. I'm a little worried about if the elevation and windage adjustments will hold but they do seem pretty rugged.
I would recommend this set up.

This is a very sturdy base & ring combo which is unique in that you have (some) both windage & elevation adjustment. The only issue that I found was that there are 2 recoil lugs with this base and ring combination. My air rifle only has 1 recoil lug hole in the mount area so this setup wouldn't work for me without modifying it. It is an easy fix for someone who has access to a power grinder or even spending a little time and a hand file.

Bought for Gamo pellet gun to keep scope from moving in rings. Mounted
3-9 x 32 Center Point scope with felt, double face tape, and nothing at all inside
Rings. Thought one piece mount and 60/40 rings would keep it from moving.
When I received Sun high mount I was shocked to find out it had SIX separate
parts linked together with four pointed set screws. Might work on a 22 if you had
FIVE hours to get everything adjusted. There is no way it would hold position
on camo gas piston gun! Guess I will cut losses and buy a different one piece
mount. Not even going to try to mount on gun.
