Very nice mount
Arrived on time. Excellent fit and finish. Adjusting screw tightensnicely for a snug fit with no extra movement. Wasn't sure how it would lookon my classic AK, but I relly like it now. Ak rail review
Seems to be built good and sturdy. does not fit any century arms ak platform. Its a little heavy. I will keep it for when i get a diffrent built ak platform. Its well priced. I think it will make a good mount. Thats about it dont buy it it for a century arms ak the ras47 or the v2.
Sun Optics AK47 side mount
I just received this product. It was told to me that it would fit my AK. It doesn't fit.
It now has scratches on the mount and I'm about to find out if Optics Planet will return this product. I'm not sure if I'll ever buy anything else from this company.

Sun Optics Ak47 side mount
Won’t fit Riley Defense Ak47. Might work if you file the back down has two raised bars on it. Finish is ok for the price seems like it would bend easily. For 35$ it isn’t bad but I was hoping it would just slide on without modifications.

Doesn't fit
The scope mount is undersized. Even fully open, the dovetail is too small to engage the mount on the rifle. It may only be a few thousandths of an inch, but too small is too small. Mount looks well made, but looks won't make it work.

Works great but rides high
I like it a lot. I have a Saiga and the mount comes with a small lip on the inside which I had to file of to get it to slide on. Once I did that everything was great. I have not had time to shoot it so I cannot vouch for it letting zero, but so many others say it does that it is not a concern for me

Ak47 side-mount
Great sturdy side mount. Nice and easy quick detachment. Definitely worth the money. Put over five hundred rounds , Doesn’t rattle lose. Got mine on sale and is a great buy. Had previous mounts that rattled lose when putting in a couple hundred rounds but this stayed sturdy and a great buy for the price.

Better Quality than the AK I put it on.
Great quality for the price. My AK's receiver mount required some filing for this optic mount to fit. It was not the Sun Side Mount that was the problem but the gun. It works well when paired with a red dot or a scope with 3" plus eye relief. It does allow for a little adjustment front to rear. Do to it's height it will change your cheek weld. I added a riser pad to my wood stock and all is in alignment. Clamping system to the guns mount is adequate. I love it especially for the price.
