Perfect fit and easy to install. Both muzzle brakes were consistent. Decent price. Shipping was no problem. All other items were also shipped together which was a pleasant surprise. I will, of course, shop at Optics planet again.

I purchased this Tapco Muzzle Break on 3/5/18 and it arrived at my doorstep on 3/14/18. Installation on my PSAK-47 is straightforward but there is a slight wobble as it does not completely sit flush against the front sight post assembly of my rifle. It needs to go another 2/3 turn for a tight fit. I understand this is fairly common on most AK's so I wasn't surprised at that. The stock slant brake that came with my PSAK-47 also had a slight wobble to it. I do plan to file the bottom of the muzzle device to eliminate this wobble issue. No I'm not going to do the O-ring or key-ring mod to it LOL. So far I've shot about 120 rounds with the new TMB and I do notice a slight decrease in muzzle rise and recoil. But I was surprised my 50 yard iron sight zero (POI) shifted about 5" low and 1.2" to the left with this TMB. For the price I have no complaints. It's not going to win any beauty contests for sure but this muzzle brake does the job. I would buy it again if I get another AK rifle. Kudos to Tapco for making an affordable muzzle device so I can afford to buy more ammo.

I had this muzzle brake on my Arsenal Sam 7. It did a good job. That is why I bought it to install on VEPR AK47. It works very well. I will buy it again if I have other AK. However, It will not replace the Arsenal Sam AK barrel. You can use it on regular AK47.

When I bought my first AK47 a few months back I was expecting the smooth machine feel of recoil as I get from my SKS rifles since it uses the same caliber bullets. Boy was I surprised when it rattled my teeth every time I pulled the trigger. I knew I needed a muzzle brake and from the reviews I had read I knew this was the one. Could not believe the difference in comfort shooting with this Brake. Since then, I have purchased two more AK47 rifles. I actually ordered two more of this Tapco Muzzle Brake a couple days before ordering the rifles. It was the first thing I installed as I unboxed the new rifles. Don't even need to shoot first because I know how much difference they make. I also tamed a Mosin Nagant 762x39R using a Tapco Brake.

This 74 brake fit perfectly on my SAR1. Really enhanced the look and performance. Use a 14x1 threader on your barrel and you are good to go. Even the color is very close to the finish of my old SAR1. Great job Tapco!

looks really cool havent used it yet. is very noticeable weight wise.probly a great brake for the price.cant say anything more tili use it..........................................4-5 sentances this review must be two hundred .

People have complained about this muzzle break in the past. Maybe it was an old style. This one 6/3/16 fits perfect. Super tight, no wobble & drastically reduces muzzle flip. 10 stars. I'm assuming that Tapco listened to past complaints & fixed the issue of not being able to tighten down. Mine fits perfect on my new npap. Very pleased.

This muzzle brake works perfectly! Such a great improvement over the traditional slant style AK brake. Also provides a bit of flash hiding although that isn't what it's main function is supposed to be.
