The Tier-One Carbon Evo is a top-tier option for serious precision rifle shooters. It provides maximum stability and adjustability for a wide-array of setups and conditions. It's well-constructed, with high-quality materials and heavy-duty components. It's rock solid, despite what you'd expect from other carbon fiber bipods. The internal components, made from aluminum and steel, provide the capability you need for large-caliber rifles with heavy recoil, and the carbon fiber simply keeps a lighter outer layer in order to cut down on some of the weight. Still, it's a hefty bipod, nonetheless. Do not expect to save any weight if your goal is to maintain a lightweight build. This is just another heavy-duty bipod that sheds a few, unnecessary ounces while maintaining its structural rigidity. The weight isn't the only thing that's hefty.
