Very impressed with the quality of machining and overall finish of these new Plan B flash hiders. Absolutely flawless lines with no machining marks, high quality steel, and sharp threads. Couldn't ask for more at this price point.

These are my initial impressions, as I haven't logged more than a few hours with the OMSsc. That said, I've been blown away thus far. The first thing that you notice is the beautiful and robust aluminum construction of the optic, giving way to that unique, crystalized transparent hood. Looking down the sights is a very different experience. The frame surrounding the lens appears razor thin, so all you see is the dot floating in your vision. Most people scoff at smaller optics, but this is one of those rare situations where seeing is believing. For all you COD fans out there, best way I can describe it is the JAK Glassless Optic lol. The roof disappears, so all you see is two razor thin lines of the frame that sandwich your red dot. The lens is crystal clear too, with no tint whatsoever. It makes it a much more enjoyable shooting experience when you combine everything mentioned. Time will tell regarding battery life and durability, but considering the aluminum construction and sub-compact target audience, I would trust that a company like Shield Sights wouldn't put out a dud. That transparent hood doesn't just look great either. It really does work when filling the dot with more ambient light. All in all, it's a very cool optic that's innovative and appealing. In a market where red dots are becoming redundant, this is one that breaks the mold.

The Tier-One Carbon Evo is a top-tier option for serious precision rifle shooters. It provides maximum stability and adjustability for a wide-array of setups and conditions. It's well-constructed, with high-quality materials and heavy-duty components. It's rock solid, despite what you'd expect from other carbon fiber bipods. The internal components, made from aluminum and steel, provide the capability you need for large-caliber rifles with heavy recoil, and the carbon fiber simply keeps a lighter outer layer in order to cut down on some of the weight. Still, it's a hefty bipod, nonetheless. Do not expect to save any weight if your goal is to maintain a lightweight build. This is just another heavy-duty bipod that sheds a few, unnecessary ounces while maintaining its structural rigidity. The weight isn't the only thing that's hefty. The price is too, but for what you're getting - it's still comparable to other high-end bipods and performs the same or better than most. If you opt for the MLOK model, be sure the end of your handguard has a full slot prior to the edge. If you have half a slot, this will not fit your rifle.

First impressions are that it's robust, seems very durable, and the dot is crisp and clear. I love the button placement on the top versus the sides. It just seems more natural to press down while holding your pistol, rather than to press to the side. I like the dual housing "look" that gives it more protection along the lensed areas. The anodizing on the FDE is very sharp. Definitely looks more coyote rather than tan, which I prefer. Overall, seems excellent for the money.

Didn't know what to expect from this optic, but decided to give it a shot on account of the price. Very impressed to find that it's built very solid, and the design is sleek. If you're into the minimalist design, you'll love it. Controls are simple and intuitive, and the offerings out of the box are unmatched. They already give you a low and high mount in the box, and the turret adjustment tool they include also is a nice touch and a good looking one. You can tell they went to great lengths with the overall presentation. Unlike some manufacturers that throw optics at this price range in a paper box with hardly any accessories, Falke gives you a great quality hard case with foam and every mounting accessory you'd ever need. Battery life seems to be great so far, though I haven't had it long enough to test out their claim of 50,000 hours. Still, I have no reason to doubt it, as their other optics have never failed me. Overall, it looks like another great addition to a brand that's still looking to establish its footprint here in the States.

Where do I begin? They are incredibly comfortable, but rugged and well-made. The lenses and specifically the quick swap system are phenomenal. They literally help to fit your helmet better on your head, and the ARC rail adapters are easy to use and install. They don't seem to fog up much, even in fairly humid conditions. Ventilation is adequate, and there are no obstructions in your field of view. They are extremely protective as these lenses are known to be able to withstand severe punishment. They are super easy to adjust on the fly or to get out of the way altogether. What else can you want in a set of high-quality protective goggles? Definitely happy with these, and will continue to lean on ESS for future eyewear.
