Nice FDE Tube

NOT BURNT BRONZE
Either I received the wrong item in FDE instead of the Burnt Bronze color I ordered or Timber creek has color blind quality control personnel. I compared it to my other Burnt bronze items and this thing doesn’t match any, not even close! Very disappointed.

minor Quality Control Issue
Items look true to MILSPEC standards. I don’t know how well they’ll thread with overspray on the threads though. One thing you need to do before installation is thoroughly clean out the inside of the tube. Mine was full of powder material, same color as the tube. If the tighten down a little on QC they have a decent affordable product.

Great Quality and Color
I really like the quality of many of the timbercreek parts. The buffer tube is very nice and has that lip that locks in place for a nice fit. The timbercreek FDE is a rich color that matches great with radian and strike industries.

Perfect fitment and design
I installed this in a 300 BO build on a AR platform. It fits perfectly and even has the nice little notch in the threads to cup around the buffer spring rentention pin. It completes its job in retaining the buffer pin, but the notch allow for another thread or two of twist inside the lower receiver. I bought a minimalist stock and it fit great; it functions as a standard DOD M4. There’s actually less “wiggle” in the stock, so I’d say it fits better than the weapons I was issued.

Good to go
The OD green matched perfectly with my Magpul buttstock and pistol grip. I'm not sure why anybody would pay more for a receiver extension this thing is perfect it has the notch for the buffer tube stop, and it matched up to my palmetto State low receiver perfectly. The next time I need a buffer tube extension I'll go to timber Creek, why pay More.
