Red ghost dot about an inch lower than the real red one in the front screws up my muscle memory for fast drawing rapid side acquisition. Plus the base is super thick and on a Sig p320 m17 with trijicon suppressor height sights, they barely peek over the base.

My suppressor height sights barely peek over the base ofthe RCR has mounted on a Sig p320 M17. What is more ridiculous is that the suppressor sites are trijicon's only ones available for this model which has the screw in integrated plate and rear sight. The base of the RCR is taller than most optics so view with through my to my front sight blade is only of like three quarters of the DOT in the front blade! that's how little of my iron suppressor sights are usable because of theridiculous height and also, I got to admit, the ridiculously shallow factory optic cut in the Sig p320 M17 doesn't help at all. But frankly I'm using an integrated trijicon the only one at trijicon for this pistol, rmr plate, that if trijicon wanted to they can make the iron sight set taller. OR MAKE THE RCR BASE SHORTER.
Cons:
- Can barely see the suppressor height sites at the extreme bottom of the site window

Great build quality awesome sight picture. Sucks it doesn’t fit the ZEV slide or Glock 19 ORCA. Thread is #4-40 i reached out to both companies and they are working on it it but no solution is available today.

I bought a new trijicon RCR. Opticsplanet sent me a used and worn one. Charging full price for a used one is a scam.

Easy to acquisition almost as easy as the SRO. Different look. I recommend any Trijicon RMR or Scope. Just be prepared to pay up.
Pros:
- Looks great
- easy to pick up target

I purchased this in October of 2024 and my initial review was positive. However, in March 2025 i begin having some issues with the dot fading and by April the dot was consistantly disappearing for no reason. When I called Trijicon they stated that they haven't had many issues with RCRs and that it was most likely a battery or battery cap issue but to go ahead and send it in anyway. I asked if they would send me a new one immediatly so I didn't have to go without and they refused which pissed me off since this is a $1019msrp optic. I sent the optic in on April 24 and on May 2 I got an email from them stating "We have evaluated your item and determined that we will be sending you a replacement RCR1 at no charge". Trijicon's customer service has been fine but I am really disappointed that the product completely failed and I'm having to go 2+ weeks without my optic.

This thing looks durable and the glass is super clear. I feel much better about the mounting system on this thing than I do my 509T.
Pros:
- rugged
- Clear Sight Picture

This optic does everything you'd expect from an enclosed trijicon.
