This Allen bolt and special washer set were exactly the parts needed to attach the 3.5 by 35 ACOG to the carry handle of my old Colt A2 AR with heavy match barrel. Can't wait to get it out to the range, zero'd and test my skills at longer distances.
Necessary for ACOG carry handle mount
This screw and washer set is needed to mount your ACOG (I got a TA44 1.5 zoom 400330 red circle dot with mount that allows iron sights to be used) to an AR15 carry handle. I put it on a H&R TIA 10” barrel upper receiver. The kit comes with an Allen wrench that has an extra short, short side to fit in the carry handle open space. The combination of screw, the locking washer and the washer the fits the contour of the underside of the carry handle is very minimal in hight and looks good and low profile. Instructions say it doesn’t take much force to tighten. (The ACOG took good pressure to push it into position on the carry handle). It’s not going anywhere.

Works great to secure Trijicon Optic to Carry Handle
This simple screw/bolt works great to secure/stabilize the Trijicon TA30 ACOG to a AR-15/M-16 type carry handle. Still allows one to use the old iron/fixed sights.

Small Details
This is a factory screw set for trijicon acogs It allows them to be affixed to carry handles. Most acogs now come with some kind of mounting equipment. This used to come with many acogs. It’s a small detail that isn’t always available.

My ACOG only came with the rail mount,and those screws are not appropriate foe mounting to carry handles. I ordered this item, used it to attach my 3.5X TA11 ACOG to my Fulton armory A2 upper. Works perfectly and has held zero.

acog scope screw
I mounted a scope on a car-15 and the scope is stable and returns to the same zero when remounting.
