I just installed them on my Taurus PT111 Gen 2 and they fit just fine. I did though use the Stainless Steel screw meant for all glocks that BROWNELL'S sells . I also filed down the tip of the screw just a tad bit to make sure that it would tighten the front sight without a chance of bottoming out before the sight was tight. For an added measure I put a small amount of blue lock tite on the screw as well as on the bottom of the front sight where it meets the slide to make it even more secure and will not shift since it is longer than the factory sight. The factory rear sight was removed just by taking a screw out and then sliding it out by hand without a problem. The truglow rear sight was a very tight fit and the dove tails needed to be filed down slightly in order to push it in 1/3 of the way by hand and then use a sight pusher to push it in the rest of the way with ease. The rear sight is VERY snug and will be hard to install using a punch so it is better and less hassle to install it with a sight pusher. DO NOT try to make the set screw match the factory hole in the slide, it isn't suppose to. The set screw is to hold the rear sight in place but as snug as the sight fits, I doubt it will move anyway.
I love these sights but they should have also put an orange fiberoptic along with the orange ring in the front sight so that it would also glow orange at night and be able to tell the front sight from the rear more easily instead of them all being green in the dark, that wo...
