Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Tritium Night Sight for Taurus PT-111 G2
TruGlo Tritium Night Sight are perfect! I just had them installed (you can do it easily if you have a sight press). These are a big improvement over the stock sites in daylight and in darkness or low light they are required. The large white ring on the front sight is better than other night sight available including other TruGlo sights. I originally wanted a laser sight at first. Previously I tried the Armalaser TR-23G which was a piece of garbage (both units, the original and the replacement had the same issue where the laser was off 45 degrees after the first shot). Tru-Glo TG231T2W on G2C

Installed the Tru-Glo TG231T2W Tritium Pro sights on a Taurus G2C. Rear sights could have used a sight press but was able to tap into place with mallet and plastic punch. Front sight did not fit the hole in the slide. Had to use a small grinder to modify the sight pin. Eventually fit. Screw head seems a little small compared to the hole size but seems to hold it in place.
Pros:
  • Nice sights. Good visibility in low light. Claim they will replace back sight if shoots low or high.
Cons:
  • Not for the amateur to install. Need some skill to install
Best Used for:
  • G2C

TruGlo Gun Sights

I'm pleased with these sights after having the gunsmith install them. They are quite clear and outstanding from the original sights with hopes of more "hitting the ten ring". I'm glad to have made the switch.
