Great BCG for stainless barrel, love the easy cleaning!
I have this most notably in a TRYBE upper with a stainless .223 Wylde barrel. It functions perfectly and it has been 100% reliable with every load. I LOVE easy cleaning BCG's and these are excellent. Treatment with a lot of modern 3-in-one cleaners before range visits will allow most powder fouling and carbon to wipe right off after range visits. Most powder fouling and carbon wipes right off, and that's worth the price of admission right there. It's a great BCG to complete a build, a worry-free product that will reliably lock your bolt and send bullets down range while cleaning easily afterwards. My ejection is at about 2:00 and the brass looks good. All bolt components are finished nicely.

I have an AR platform dedicated for longer range shooting, and I needed a BCG that was easier to clean and high quality. This is exactly wha5 I needed at a great price

The nickel boron coating is very bad honestly I will probably return this
I can see tool marks and some places on the bolt carrier is sticky that’s not how nickel boron is I have had ones half the price that have a better coating don’t recommend I would just go with toolcraft they palmetto state premium

Out of spec
When i recived this bcg based on reviews took it apart and checked everything I could think of and it looked ok. I literally fired a single shot and disassembled it and the firing pin was scored where it contacts the cam pin the firing pin and cam pin have a ton of slop I should have known better than to install it in my rifle when it came in an unmarked bag and didn't even have a manufacturers stamp I will never buy another trybe defence product

Mine was NOT to spec. "blazin deal" was a headache and a waste of money.
Needed a BCG and these were on "blazin deal" for $99 and retails for $279 ... So I thought I'd see what it was all about.
The gas key was canted and dinged -- causing my gas tube to get beat up & then the bolt wouldn't seat correctly in battery.
Also, there are extensive tooling marks that caused some excess wear on my upper.
Added 1 star b/c the coating was very easy to clean.
If you buy, I'd recommend you know how to test all the different specs in this BCG.

Super slick and smooth!!
I’m about 700 rounds into this BCG, and I’m still very happy with it. Other commenters mentioned problems with staking, but mine was perfect and functions flawlessly. 0 malfunctions, FTF, or FTE so far. It feels very slick, and actually functions as advertised. If I had to say anything negative, it’s obviously a little bit more tedious to clean. Only because the carbon is sitting on a nickel colored surface, instead of blending into a black finish. However, the finish holds up to heavy scrubbing, and still looks great and functions like new.

Great Mil Spec BCG
It is a great Mil Spec BCG for the money. It is very high quality and looks fantastic.

Gas Key misaligned.
Gas Key was misaligned bending and marring my gas tube.
Removed and installed RCA adj gas key, ( works fine now.)
Gas key staking took 86lbs to remove. (I've had over staked key screws strip at 92lbs.)

Trybe mil-spec BCG
Fit and finish beautiful. Functions perfectly. Arrived wrapped in one layer of bubble wrap in an envelope with no documentation. Expected at least a box to protect the BCG. First Trybe purchase but seemed like it might have been a return or open box item.
