Common sense approach to survival

Wow these are pricey!!! but what is your survival worth??? I bought a few of these and threw them in the cupboard in the RV. I am ready for an emergency right ??? well kinda .... I had some mice get in the RV and they love these!!! Best mice bait I have found for traps so if mice love them they must be great(a new theory I am working on ) They do taste good and easy to store and last a long time Stay away from other bars like this, that list sugar as the first ingredient. Put in a mouse proof area, A heavy plastic tub or bin. Maybe a 5 gallon bucket with a good lid would work great. Buy 12 of these and store for 4 years and in the 5th year start buying two more every month and use two of the older ones so you can rotate your stock Use in place of breakfast food or even better as a dinner replacement and eat one bar(1 of 6)every other day till you use up two packages (12 Days) over the 24 days of that month. add in a case of MRE'S and you can last a long time

I would put in 3 bottles of water with each food bar. You need water much more than food in an emergency.

Want to last 3 months figure on 90 food bars and 180 bottles of water and store all this in a cool dry place inside other storage containers
BTW a clean dry older chest freezer will store things very well and if you freeze the water and food bars they would last for many years longer than listed
