2.0 life pod safe
It's a 5 in my book with a reality score of i 4 because you didn't design a vehicle mount plate to snap it in and out of. Right now as is, its a big safety issue flying around the back of my jeep on the cable. It deserves a mount plate to snap it in and out of.
Vaultek life Pod 2.0
Well worth the upgrade to the larger 2.0. The smaller one would be more suited for holding personal items and not a gun. The interior light it also nice to have. Do reccomend getting the organizer that fits into the top.

Great for Full Size
I've got a couple of original LifePods, and while they're great for locking up my compact pistols when I'm barred from carrying one into a "gun free" location, they won't accommodate a full size pistol. In fact, this has enough capacity to lock up my P226 even when it's in its holster.
I didn't think I'd care about the interior light much, but the couple times I've transferred my gun, it's turned out to be very helpful.
The only downside as compared to the smaller LifePod is the finish. While the original had a smooth, glossy finish, this model I bought (red) is matte, and it shows scratches on the surface much more.

Vaultek Lifepod 2.0
Worth every penny! Haven’t flown with it yet (coming in the next 20 days) but having it tied down in my vehicle for situations where my firearm isn’t allowed makes me feel better vice having it in my glove compartment. Sturdy and well built; having the 2.0 allows me to switch between my different size firearms for storage. If you’re thinking about buying one, don’t hesitate and go for it. Also, Optics Planet customer service and fast shipping is second to none!

Nicely Made Kit But...
...it takes longer to get into than I'd like. I ended up giving mine to my wife- where she stores her valuables when walking at the park.
This does its overall job well. It is definitely secure and a high-quality product. However, the two side latches are necessary to seal the unit for water resistance and more critically, these latches facilitate closing the box properly to ensure the lock engages. As such, if you wanted to get to a handgun rapidly, you'd need to enter the code (or use the optional biometric feature) to unlock the safe and then carefully fold back the latches to open it up. For me, that's too slow.
I'll end up buying a different, simpler product with faster access. I just don't need the waterproof construction.

Worth every Penny
If you need a fast access, portable, safe solution for your firearm and accessories then this is the one to have. It is precision built with a high quality finish and very spacious. The light is an added bonus. When I travel I keep a full size firearm in a holster with 2 additional magazines perfectly with little or no movement. I suggest also getting the carry handle.

Light, sturdy and a space saver.
I bought this quick safe to keep my pistol out of reach from my toddler, but we live in a small apartment. It's pretty lightweight and although the construction is from plastics, it is really durable. I've dropped it accidentally before I attached it to my bed with the included cable. It was easy to set up my code to it and it makes for a great travel safe/case. Highly recommend this safe.

Valutek Lifepod 2.0
This is a very nice product. It works just like it said in the description. It holds one 4-in.-barrel revolver very nicely. A good purchase and delivered very quickly. The extra tray is not particularly useful when storing a pistol, but could be for other items. The case looks, too. For two handguns, I'd go with the larger safe. For one the Lifepod 2.0 works great.
