Made in your friendly People's Republic of China
I thought all Viridian products were made in USA, but this model (a collaborative effort with OpticsPlanet) is made in China. The box has a bunch of typos, like something you buy from Alibaba. If it were made in Republic of China (ROC, Taiwan) I'd have given 5 stars and paid $50 more. Besides that, everything is alright. I wish I could remove the battery so I could charge it separately like Viridian X5L, but it's all good. Nice product.
Great Packaging
I couldn't be happier with this. It came in perfect! Also comes with everything you need to get started. I received all the tools, instructions, charging pack and on top of that, they send you extra screws and pieces you will need if you loose something so there is a small little back up kit in the package.

Viridian OPMOD Omega green lazer/light
1000 lumen light with green lazer is a top notch accessory to add to your hand gun, with its magnetic hookup, and rechargeable battery, comes with a battery pack that doubles to charge your phone with a usb type A port, light has on and off plus low, medium, high, and strobe positions with or with out green lazer, the green lazer beam can be seen up to 100 yards away, Viridian products out preform other brands and were first with green laser and green dot scopes with over 20 years experience with them, the green lazers out performs the red lazers and are easier to see, you can’t go wrong outfitting your handgun or rifle with Viridian products!!

Springfield XDS 45
This fits the XDS perfectly IMO. Really like the bright green laser with the 3 brightness light plus a pulsing flash, both are very bright. You can also just use the green laser. I keep it on the middle light setting. It remembers your last setting. Slightly wider than the narrow XDS but very compact and does not extend past the length of the barrel. The external battery charging pack is a plus and the magnetic connection wire to the light unit makes it a breeze to charge up. Super deal!

Turns on by itself
The light and laser on this Viridian are the best in my opinion. I have Olight, Streamlight and Viridian and between the three the Viridian has the brightest and whitest light. It also has the clearest and brightest laser. My problem is with the button placement and ease of pushing. If I'm carrying in my waistband, it turns on every time I bend over or sit down. It turns itself on less if it's in a holster but it's still a problem. It shouldn't turn itself on ever. I haven't had my olights and streamlights turn on ever, not once. If you're going to carry in your waistband, I definitely would not recommend this light.

Highly recommend it.
The performance of this laser and light is awesome. The laser is sharp, and the light is super bright. Holds zero perfectly. Main surprise is you are not just getting the unit itself, it comes with a rechargeable battery pack and cords and I call that a money saver.

Love the mode changes
The changing of the modes are smooth to do, so having the option to just have light or just laser or both is a neat feature. I love this product!
