Most Helpful Positive Review Great target Grips
Mine were back ordered but still only took two weeks to arrive, easy to install, fit great and they look great with the silver Victory S&W22 gun. the mag release extension fit nice and works better that the original release.
Most Helpful Negative Review Magazine release problems
These are very nice looking grips. I have large hands and they fit me well. I had a bit of rubbing above my right third finger knuckle. If I had kept the grips, then I would have removed some wood in that spot. The problem that I had was that every time I put the pistol down on the table, the ma...

Fantastic target grip

by Warpig, from TN, United States Written on February 11, 2024
The only way these grips could be better would be if they made a mold of each shooters hand then hand carved the grips to match. Of course that would cost 5 times more. You can't get much better than these grips off the shelf.
Pros:
  • Custom look, high quality
Cons:
  • Not for smaller hand sizes
Best Used for:
  • Bullseye target shooting
Would recommend: Yes

SW22 Victory

by Victory, from WA, United States Written on September 2, 2023
Installed on a SW22 Victory. Not sure I like the finger grooves. Could use a little bigger thumb rest and palm shelf. If I tighten the screws to tight my magazine will not release and drop out. Something I need to look into.
Pros:
  • well made
Cons:
  • Magazine
  • needs modifications for magazine to release
Would recommend: Yes

Good handle

by Claude, from MA, United States Written on October 14, 2021
This handle is an improvement on the original one. It helps in match target shooting. It is easy to replace. I have average size hands and the handle fits me well. It also looks good. My only issue is that if you lay down the gun on the magazine side, the magazine will release. I think they should add a little bump on the forward side to prevent it.
Pros:
  • Improved grip
Cons:
  • Unwanted magazine release
Best Used for:
  • Match shooting
Would recommend: Yes

Major improvement

by Mark C, from IL, United States Written on May 3, 2021
I have many upgrades on my Victory 22's, and adding the Volquartsen grips made the guns feel complete. The grips drew a lot of attention from other shooters at my gun club and everyone liked the feel and looks of the grips. Instillation was easy and straight forward. I needed to slightly drill out one of the mounting holes on one of the grips to allow the screw to bite into the gun frame, but it was very minor and well worth a little bit of effort to avoid an exchange. The grips seemed a little pricey at first, but I have no regrets after using them.
Pros:
  • Good hand position resulting in improved accuracy. Great looks
Cons:
  • A little expensive, but well worth it
Best Used for:
  • Target and competition

Nice feel to these grips

by JL, from CT, United States Written on March 21, 2021
These grips look good and they feel good. I'd give it a 5 star except the magazine release button on the left side protrudes too far out so the magazine pops out if you lay the gun down on the bench with the left side down.

if you have larger Hands as myself you will not be a good fit. small to medium Hands. doesn't work with 1+ Base mags as well.

Pros:
  • grip and feel
  • steady hands over all shooting

Gallery shooter

by Hawkeyemurphy, from MN, United States Written on April 5, 2019
Top shelve acccessory. Gives shooter better control and tighter hold on target. Can be used with Performance Center pistol by swapping out mag release with standard one used on generic pistols. Would like to purchase same product for Browning Buckmark.

Volquartsin Wooden Grips for S&W Victory

by Jim, from PA, United States Written on January 29, 2019
Love these grips. Was shipped the wrong grips by OP after waiting over two weeks then it took another two weeks to get the correct set. Was not and still am not happy with what OP called “customer service”! This is a review of the grips but I would recommend that they be purchased from another source such as TandemKross.
Pros:
  • Nice fit and finish
Cons:
  • Time to get and correct the error
