The Diamondback HP 4-16x42 is a quality scope. Optics and clarity is nearly as good as a Leupold VX-2. Adjustment dials give an audible click every 1/4 moa. Range markings on the scope's side focus parallax adjustment dial are accurate. The warranty could not be better. My only dislike about the...

I'm a huge fan of Vortex Optics especially the Viper HD binoculars but the Diamondback line of scopes do not make the cut. Vortex has always been good to me. This purchase was no exception. I bought this for my son's first hunting rifle build. Looks great on that savage 111. Has good clarity in low light. He appreciates the heck out of that towards the end of the day. Ill be buying another for my ar10 build. Hopefully my boy gets his first buck this year.

This is a great scope for the price. My only complaint for it would be the reticle is thicker than I would have like to have. Everything else is great and exactly what I needed for a hunting scope.
