Most Helpful Positive Review Perfect Fit
Mounted on stevens 87a that had side of receiver drilled and tapped for mount and peep. Lined up perfect. Solid mount base, used with weaver 1" high bracket and rings to mount old bushnell. Pros: Solid Cons: None

Good side mount

Bought for a pre-1964 Winchester 94. Easy installation and adjustment. I gave it a 4 because it didn't have the clearance for the adjustment ring on the 3-9x scope I wanted to use, but I swapped it with the scope on my .270 and it worked just fine.

side mount

item was as described. perfect fit on sears 30-30. that coupled with a set of 1 inch rings gives me the perfect set-up for my wife who has shot right handed all of her life but has lost most of the vision in her right eye. she can still shoulder to the right and use her left eye to aim. just be sure and sight scope in at the distance you will be shooting and remember that other distances will require windage adjustments. timely delivery of item before deer season was great

Decent design. High quality material

See cons section. Design could be improved but overall a good item.
Pros: Good compatibility with base.
Cons: Should mount like typical rings. The screws on on side only makes it difficult to align the scope.
