WILL THIS FIT ON A SOCOM 16 ? ALSO WILL THIS SLING WORK FOR A LEFT HAND SHOOTER ? Expert Answer

Yes, this sling can be used by both left and right handed shooters and it will fit a SOCOM 16 as long as it is not a SOCOM II or an M1A SOPMOD because those have larger forends that will not allow this sling to attach.

I have a SOC 16 and want to purchase this sling. Didn't know that a SOCOM II existed and what is a M1A SOPMOD? How can i tell the difference? Can you answer this question?

Its not a bag sling all in all. Its a little bulky on the m14 but my main issue is the color, OLIVE DRAB is basically neon green. You would think someone making this sling would actually get the color right.

Product Info for Specter Gear M-14 / M1A CQB Sling

Specter Gear M-14 / M1A CQB Sling on sale and available from our online store. OpticsPlanet, Inc is an Authorized US Distributor for Specter Gear Gun Slings.image

These slings are designed to fit conventional fixed stock M1A / M-14 rifles and SOCOM 16 carbines. They are 1.25" wide, fully ambidextrous and available with or without an EmergencyRelease Buckle (ERB).  

PLEASE NOTE: The front adapter for this sling will not fit around the SOCOM II or SOPMOD type fore end rail clusters. If no front side mounted sling swivel is available on your weapon, you will need to purchase a rail mounted sling swivel, such as this one, to attach the front portion of the sling.
     These slings are available in Black, Olive Drab, Coyote Tan and Foliage Green.
