Great Sling
Great inexpensive sling. very similiar to the one I used in Iraq for my M4. The ERB would have been a welcome feature back then. Bought this one to use Game hunting. Great for climbing up a tree stand and taking a prone shoot.

Not a bad sling but,
Its not a bag sling all in all. Its a little bulky on the m14 but my main issue is the color, OLIVE DRAB is basically neon green. You would think someone making this sling would actually get the color right.

This is the sling I was looking for. A Little complicated, but I figured it out. It works great, and allows me to have the best American, if not the world's best military/ combat/ hunting/ self defense rifle, the Springfield M1A SOCOM 16 ready to go at any time! I can put it on either side if my body, in front, horizontally ( arm rest) and or could sling it on my back! Makes this awesome weapon very tactically ready, and easy to get into action! My only issue was the "carrier", they sure took their sweet time getting this sling to me! Optics Planet, I would not use DHL anymore! I think that's the right letters for the yellow van carriers! Anyway look forward to many happy years of use, with the best "Fighting implement,( now made even better) ever devised by man"-General George S.Patton!

Immaculate
If you're looking for ease of use, durability and dependability, this is the sling for you. I have many tactical firearms and they all wear Specter Gear slings. I just recently purchased a Springfield M1A Scout and the first accessory I bought was the Specter Gear sling. This is a quite heavy rifle especially with a fully loaded mag, so comfort is a must when carrying it in the field and Specter Gear fit the bill. 5 STARS!

Specter Gear M-14 / M1A CQB Sling
I put the Specter Gear M-14 / M1A CQB Sling on my SOCOM16 and it has worked exactly as advertised. Easy to operate as both a single and double-point sling. I made a wide black mark on the outside surface of the sling fabric (inside the plastic buckles) for quick reference on my optimal two-point sling setting. Same for a one-point setup, only with a narrower marking. This allows me to quickly reference where my buckles need to be for each kind of sling application (obviousy in lighted settings, before rolling out). The sling will work just fine with the multi-fit nylon cheekpiece and EOTech OPMOD Holosight, also sold here. There is plenty of fabric available to fit over my rattle as well.
