The Wilson Combat 1911 Magazine Well will be compatible with your Rock Island 1911. However, Wilson Combat states that their magwells will require fitting in order to be installed, gunsmith installation is recommended.

its nice upgrade to my rock island 1911 efs easy install right out of the box and fits real good on my grip no shaving materials needed just a litte tap of rubber mallet and fits no gap on the handle

I added this to a RIA 1911 A1 10mm. I had to Dremel the hooks just a tiny bit to get them seated properly. My G10 grips needed a bit of filing too but I expected that. The “blued” version is black which matches the black hardware of the gun.
