Fits Perfectly
Easy to install works great. No matter how you hit the mag well the magazine goes right in, and it looks good to. Helps out if you are building a race gun. Or just a day on the range. It help reload time.

Wilson Combat Magwell
Place on Springfield Emissary 45 cal. Works well. Didn’t work with Megar magazines that came with handgun. But I already had a ton of Wilson mags.

its nice upgrade to my rock island 1911 efs easy install right out of the box and fits real good on my grip no shaving materials needed just a litte tap of rubber mallet and fits no gap on the handle

magazine well

Great product, but...
This is a fantastic mag well. It fit very snug with no wobble or awkward fitting areas on my rock island 1911. As others have stated, I will need to take a dremel to the inside of my grips to allow them to sit properly against the frame but that is no big deal. The only issue I have is my magazines will not reach the catch anymore because the mag base hits the well so I will need to get either welded magazines where there is no mag base or get extended magazines. So for now I have it removed until I can get those magazines replaced.

Nice clean fit
Only issue i have found is sone mags with a thicker base plate (plastic type) do not easily seat without slamming them in. Other than that, its a nice fit and the color matches well. Makes mag changes much easier. No mods were required on my commander size 1911.

Simple upgrade
Paired this magwell with a set of VZ grips with the “internal magwell cut” and it’s a perfect combo. The magwell slid right into place with a nice tight fit and a couple taps from a rubber mallet. Installed the grips and everything looks and works perfect! The polished and rough parts match the two finishes on my Kimber Raptor nicely.

Fit and Finish
Added this to my 1911. Installation was pretty straight forward. Fit very tightly, no wobble or gaps. Works as I wanted without having to remove and install a new backstrap. No major issues with G10 or Magpul grips.

You need extended pistol mag plates
The concept is brilliant but you need longer mag plates to use correctly. When you insert the magazine into the mag well it goes in just fine. Faster, but seating the magazine requires you to insert fingers in an odd manner into we'll for it to work. Vs just ramming it home with your palm and regripping firearm

Good fittti g addition
The Magwell was easy to install with just a tap of a small hammer and the grips on my Kimber Ultra Carry II were easy to modify with just a small chisel. Makes mag changes much quicker and easier by feel.
