My concern is that down the road when the sight becomes dim and I need to replace,getting it off after jb welding could prove to be ugly. Manufacturer Answer

Careful application of the JB Weld initially will help prevent problems.

Will this work on a mossberg 500 14” with the xs shotrail rear rail and ghost ring? Or is this too low to work with the rear rail mounted ghost ring? Manufacturer Answer

No, it will not. It is too short.
