No brainer
Anyone who has been around shotguns knows about the brass bead and how to use it. Simple, inexpensive, and most importantly, effective. The big dot is fantastic for any shotgun. It draws your eye and is easy to use. The hardest part is just mixing up some jb weld and sticking it on. After that you’re good to go. Pro tip: let it set before you get impatient and go shoot because it will try to fly off.

LOVE IT on the Mossberg 590
Love the Big Dot as a replacement for the bead sight on my Mossberg 590. Installation is easy for anyone mechanically inclined. The rest of this is to satisfy the minimum length requirements 123456789.

Don't think twice
Don't think twice, buy it now. I have XS big dots on at least 3 setups. If you can shoot ducks with a brass bead, you could shoot the wings off a dove with this white dot (if you can see it). All jokes aside; Great size for center mass CQB and mid range. Glows bright as triji and mepros; will it glow 25yrs? Have to get back with you on that one....

Great for Aging Eyes
I have had to accept that my eyesight is starting to decline. I was having difficulty in acquiring the front bead of my shotgun in lower light conditions. The Big Dot is exactly what it says; a BIG white circle around a highly visible tritium center. Your eyes go right to it and it’s next to impossible to miss. I am also a big fan of installation. Having once had to remove and replace a shotgun front bead, the “epoxy glue over the existing bead” is my new favorite. Just make sure to use alcohol or other non-residue degreaser at the site to make sure the super glue gets a solid surface to set up on.

- Potential that a really hard hit on the sight might knock it loose from the epoxy glue

Big dot easy to see in all light conditions
The installation is very easy to do. I had some acraglass on hand, so i didn't have to buy an adhesive. It is a very solid mount. The height is slightly higher than the bead it replaced, but I noticed no difference in point of impact when patterning. The sight is easy to pick up in twilight and darkness and allows proper indexing of the gun before you turn the light on to positively identify the target. Daytime, the big white dot is easy to see and stands out against most all backgrounds.

Great Upgrade!
High quality, easy to install, and well worth the price. Makes more of a difference for fast acquisition or in low light conditions than I expected so I'm very pleased with the sight. I definitely recommend XS Sights for shotguns, even though they are primarily known for handgun sights.
