Does the same plate work on the front and back or is there different types or shape? Expert Answer

These AR500 Armor Level III+ 10x12 ASC Multi-Curve Body Armor Plates will work in either the front or back. Certain plate carries will recommend using specific shaped plates but these will work at either front or back if they fit your carrier.

It's a plate, and it fits my carrier and its comfortable, albeit on the heavy side, but if you want cheap armor, this is it. I bought 2, one for my back and front. I should have gotten a flat for the back, but it works ok.

Our armor ballistic core performance and balance of achieving multi-hit performance within its designated threat level; rounds exceeding the armors limitations and threat level or extreme multi-hit scenarios may cause the armor to crack upon impact. This result is normal and significantly reduces the rounds velocity, if not completely defeating, opposed to through and through penetration.image
