I've used cuffs from Peerless, Smith and Wesson, Fury Tactical, and Safariland Hiatt. The only advantage any of those have over Asp Ultra Cuffs is that they are cheaper, but the added cost for the Asps are definitely worth it. The thing I liked most...

The ASP Hinge Aluminum Bow Ultra Cuffs allow officers to securit the most powerful handcuffs in the world even further by integrating a hinge. The ASP Hinge Handcuffs Ultra is a hinge handcuff, which, when closed, is equal in force to six regular handcuffs. The cuffs provide officers with the strength of a steel handcuff with the light weight and swift restraining ability of an ASP Handcuff. The ASP Hinge Handcuffs Ultra also significantly reduces force required to break the cuffs open with one hand. This is especially important when attempting to apprehend a dangerous offender. The ASP Hinge Ultra Cuffs also features an internal lock dog point for added safety and rigidity.
