I've used cuffs from Peerless, Smith and Wesson, Fury Tactical, and Safariland Hiatt. The only advantage any of those have over Asp Ultra Cuffs is that they are cheaper, but the added cost for the Asps are definitely worth it. The thing I liked most about these is the rounded and very comfortable edges. It's pretty hard for a perp to complain about the sharp edges hurting his wrists when there are no sharp edges. All joking aside though these are a great set of cuffs with every feature you could ever want in a surprisingly lightweight package. I'm already saving my pennies so I can replace my backup cuffs with another set of Ultra Cuffs.
