Product Info for ATN NVM-14 1x27mm Gen.3 Night Vision Monocular Generation III Scope
The NVM-14 is a night vision multi-purpose scope, commonly referred to as a NV monocular. The NVM-14 utilizes ATN's proprietary dual-tube IR illuminator, which ensures that the user has a clear and sharp image even in the darkest night. This illuminator utilizes ATN's green phosphor lamp, which produces a neutral-white image without causing a "white-shift" in the image. The green phosphor generates a clear and sharp image even in the dark. The green phosphor produces a neutral-white image, which is why many military forces prefer to use the NVM-14 in place of night vision Rifle Scopes. The NVM-14 can be used as a hand-held monocular, held in one hand or mounted to a helmet. The monocular can also be used by a shooter to sight a weapon... the options are only limited by your imagination! The NVM-14s compact yet rugged design allows it to be mounted onto any firearm equipped with a Weaver rail, making it the perfect unit for any situation. Compatible with Weaver-style mounting systems, the NVM-14 can be mounted in front of a reflex sight... opening up an entirely new world of unbounded possibilities. The ATN NVM series is made of the highest quality - German engineered optics coupled with state of the art image intensifiers. The intensifiers provide a clear, sharp and crisp image all the way from very low light into the darkness. The technology is state of the art, and ATN is proud to offer this exclusive technology to the night vision community. Weaver-style mounting systems are specifically designed for optimum performance in very demanding conditions. High optical resolution and high resolution ensure that the NVM series can handle the most demanding situations. The ATN NVM series was designed from the ground up to be a versatile, multifunctional and tough enough to handle the most rugged environments.
