Yes, once the ballistic profile is established, ranging the target with the rangefinder will prompt the ballistic calculator to automatically adjust the reticle to correct the point of impact. This means no holdover is required, you simply aim and shoot on target.
This thermal is awesome for game identification and shooting out to 500 yds. Past that you will have problems with the identification of your target. I hunt in areas that rarely will see a shot over 200-250 yds and this scope is exactly what I needed...
