Can this be used handheld as a monocle scope also? Manufacturer Answer

The TICO LTVs are built as multi-purpose scopes. They can convert your daytime scope into a thermal scope, and with an optional eyepiece adapter, they can also be used as a handheld monocular.

Can this be used with a red dot?(not laser)

Absolutely. Just make sure you line up both optics, well. The Red dot reticle overlays great on the thermal image and the TICO-LTV has eight color modes so you can really dial in the look you want for different environments against your reflex sight's color. I'll also add that on my PCC rig, I have a 3x magnifier and the thermal image looked great with the magnification, as well. The TICO-LTV optic is supposed to be factory collimated and I have not had an opportunity to test POI at the range yet but I expect it is as advertised.
