Made from specially compounded polyethylene, Axygen Heat Seal Film Cy 115mm X 500m HSF-TS-L can be easily cut with a hot knife and is ideal for the sterility preservation of sterile band slides in tissue sections and in semi-quantitative preparations for microbiological isolation. Heat seals on one side of the film to prevent unfolding and seals securely by heat embossed, pressure sensitive adhesive. A heat source is placed on one edge of the Axygen Heat Seal Transmitting Sleeve to heat seal both sides of the film together into a single strip, and then remove the heat seal from the other end of the strip. This locks in the shape of the film and provides a tight seal that is ideal for miniscule humidity conditions. A strong, uniform tension seal is created as heat is applied, sealing the entire length of the tube. Heat seals on both ends create an overwrap seal along the entire length of the tube.
