They brought all of these insights into the design studio when they began creating the perfect competition clays vest. The masterpiece they ended up with satisfies all the requirements outlined by the pros, and a whole lot more. They started by sourcing the most premium abrasion resistant material on the planet from ItalyAlcantara. Alcantara is commonly found on the seats and steering wheels of Formula 1 race cars due to its grip, durability, and comfort. They used a quilted Alcantara to craft the large recoil pad on this vest that runs from the chest all the way to the top of the shoulder. This thin yet recoil absorbing pad is streamlined to prevent any gun stock catching and durable enough for hundreds of thousands of rounds. The easy-access front shell pockets utilize magnetic snap closures allowing the shooter to grab a shell and have the pocket snap back closed to keep things tight while shooting. Empty shells can be dumped through the integrated YKK zippers in the bottom of the shell pockets. On either side of the vest is a towel ring and snap loop for ear protection and a towel. On the back are stealth clips that provide for a discrete way to affix your number bib and can be easily removed when not in use. Inside the front pockets is an attachment point for their VersaPatch Shell holder system which also works great to hold chokes when not in use. The vest is designed to offer ample area for sponsor logos and embroidery.
