Can this sling be used with a Sig M400? How does it connect to the gun? Expert Answer

Yes, this sling doesn't include any clips so it will attach by wrapping around a part of the sling mount or the opening in the M400's stock.

How is this attached to the rifle can it attach to the Daniel Defense buffer tube attachment point or is extra equipment required Expert Answer

This sling uses an elastic-encased MASH clip.

The Daniel Defense rifles appear to use a QD socket, but it's not entirely clear from the photos at the DD website - you may wish to contact Daniel Defense for clarification, you can reach them at (866) 554-GUNS (4867).

Bought for my S&P 15-22 and will not fit without a special adapter that cost more that the sling. But quality of product is good and would recommend if your weapon is already equipped to use this type of sling.

Blackhawk Tactical unique single-point Slings is constructed of high-strength 1.25" wide nylon webbing with an elliptical bungee for comfort and support. It adjusts from 46" to 64" in diameter and also features robust bar tacking and box stitching for maximum strength.image

Features of Blackhawk Storm Single Point Sling XT:

  • Top of the line Storm Sling with new features for 2009
  • New Feature: Dual 300 pound test side-release buckles. One for quick sling detachment and one for convenient firearm attachment or removal while still wearing the sling.
  • New Feature: Removable "MASH Clip" for quick and positive firearm attachment. Encased in elastic for silencing with additional 6" of possible sling length adjustment.
  • Made of 1.25" webbing and heavy-duty elliptical bungee for comfort and support encased in compressed tubular nylon sheathing, fixed to limit bounce and enhance retention
  • Four inch flex for the right amount of weapon agility and CQB tactics
