Typical great value. Minimal, if any fitting required. Has held up on Kimber 45 with hardball ammo. Fired over 2,000 rounds without any problems. Check the screws about every five hundred rounds to be safe.

I bought this mount with a Fast Fire 2. Installed on a Springfield XD 9 tactical. Installation was quick. I used a brass punch to knock out the origional rear sight. New dovetail pushed right in, no fitting required.

Burris FastFire Reflex Red-Dot Sight Mounting Plates provides a secure attachment to your firearm, for reliable performance when you need it. Installation of Burris FastFire Scopes on most rifles, carbines, and some handguns require the included Picatinny / Weaver Mounting Plate. The FastFire II Picatinny Mount by Burris allows mounting on just about any rifle. Burris Fast Fire Mounting Plates are available for the most common firearms. Most other handguns require a different mounting plate or other red dot sight accessory.
