Product Info for C.A.M.P. Ascent Semi-Auto Toe Bail Crampons

The Semi-Auto Toe Bail represents the middle ground between the negligible profile ( SAC ) crampons (sold individually ) and the hyper- aggressive ( SAC ) crampons. The Semi-Auto Toe Bail represents the compromise between the high mechanical performance of the SAC , and the reduced spatter density of the SAC , making the Semi-Auto toe more user friendly for users of all fitness levels and footwear that can benefit from a semi-auto crampon. The Semi-Auto toe accommodates a variety of booties including low-volume and wide-fitting shoes. The Semi-Auto heel bail offers the lowest possible profile for the SAC , increasing strength and minimizing weight. The Semi-Auto heel bail provides the lowest weight and the thickest profile of all the Auto rams . By removing the weight of the toe bail and focusing the energy expenditure on the heel axis, the Semi-Auto has a drastic increase in strength. This is a great choice for those looking for a robust toe crampon that meets the needs of hard-charging backcountry skiers and alpine guides.image
