The original Caldwell Claymore launched clay target thrower - the manual, battery-free, Claymore is the first to market with a 50 clay target magazine and foot operated cocking mechanism. The idea was to make a simple, user-friendly clay target thrower that anyone can operate. That was the genesis of the Claymore. The design was engineered by engineers at Caldwell to simplify use and reduce training time. Improvements include a step operated cocking mechanism that will throw clay targets over 55 yards and a folding design for easy transportation - that basically means it'll throw for life. The Caldwell Claymore was made with a chamber depth that ensures the clay you throw has enough mass to penetrate the atmosphere. Also, the Pyramex Clay Target Trap window will allow you to see your throw and instantly know if you've nailed another turkey or a blue jay on the target you just threw - which is a sure thing when throwing for life!
