For the first time ever, a Canon digital camera has a touch screen interface for an enjoyable, intuitive experience when using the Power Shot SD980IS. The Canon PowerShot SD 980 IS features a wide 3.0 inch PureColor LCD, 12.1 megapixel resolution, 5x optical zoom, and the 720p HD movie / video shooting capability with HDMI output.

The PowerShot SD980 by Canon is fun to use with incredible photo fidelity, HD movie capture, and a touchscreen system that allows you to select shooting modes, set flash mode, scroll through images, magnify a portion of an image and control HD video playback. In addition to touch screen features, the Canon Power Shot SD-980 has motion sensors. A quick shake of the digital camera prompts images to play back, one after the other, and if the camera is tilted while advancing the images, the speed of the slide show increases according to the tilt angle.
