This choke performs flawlessly and significantly reduces the recoil on my Mossberg 500.I don't have a lot of experience with choke tubes but installation is simple and the choke really helped to improve my numbers at the range.

Carlson's Choke Tubes 12 Gauge Ported Choke Tube for Winchester, Browning, Mossberg 500 minimizes recoil and muzzle jump simultaneously, while allowing quick and easy follow up shots. These Choke Tubes made by Carlson's Choke Tubes are made from 17-04 stainless steel and precision machined to produce more efficient patterns, with a more reduced recoil than previous Carlson's Shotgun Chokes. The Carlson's Ported Choke Tube throws some of the most consistent patterns you can get, due to the parallel section that is 25% longer than other chokes.
