Will the Win Cyl .730 fit my Mossberg 500 18 in. barrel used for home defense and is it recommended to use a professional gun smith to install.

This should fit the Mossberg 500. A gunsmith is not necessary, but judge your ability and base a gunsmith from there.

I am looking into these Carlson choke tube but I am not sure which one I need for my Mossberg 930. I would like to get the ported versions.

The Mossberg 930 uses the Winchester/Browning Invector system. These chokes pictured would fit your shotgun.

You can use slugs in a Cylinder, Skeet, or IC constriction choke tube.
