The VR means Vent Rib. Yes the barrel is threaded for Remington choke tubes, so you will be able to remove the Mod choke and install any Rem choke into the barrel.

  • All 18 1/2 inch barrels are non vent ribbed and have a ramped front sight with a matte finish.
  • Threaded for the Benelli Mobil choke style system.
