The CRKT Fillet Knives are the answer to the rough life of a fisherman's fillet knife. Filleting knives can lead a rough life - these knives get dropped and lost; sometimes you forget to wash and wipe them down after saltwater use, with really ugly results; sometimes they end up in the bottom of the boat, or in someone else's tackle box. The CRKT Fillet Knife series is made to recognize these facts of life, by giving you a line of affordable fillet knives that are good enough to bear the CRKT brand name. Each Columbia River Fillet Knife has a flexible 5Cr15MoV stainless steel blade with an extended tang that reaches nearly to the butt of the grip. For improved performance, the blade features hand-ground scallops to create air pockets so the fillets won't stick to the blades as you cut - a feature normally found only on much more expensive slicing knives. The handles are molded TPR with a fishnet texture and a lanyard hole. Each CRKT Fillet Knife comes with an injection molded polypropylene sheath, fitted to grip the knife securely, with belt loops and plenty of drain slots.
Even at their value prices, the CRKT Fillets are covered by the CRKT Limited Lifetime Warranty. They're just honest affordable knives. Wash them when you're done, oil them occasionally, and the CRKT Fish Fillet Knives will be around for years.
