It weighs 5.9 oz, perfect for weight-conscious soldiers. This CRKT knife shares a unique design, offering a combination of Carson Special Forces series features requested by military procurement specialists. The knife has a combined razor-edge and patented Veff serrated edge, and its open build allows two Carson Flippers to be incorporated, resulting in a true hilt. The premium 8Cr14MoV stainless steel blade receives a titanium nitride coating for maximum corrosion resistance, and dual checkered thumb studs are standard for ambidextrous, one-handed opening. The open InterFrame build of the Columbia River Carson Special Forces Veff Edge Tactical Folder Knife uses scales of high-grip G10, often preferred for its aggressive gripping texture, light weight, and insulating properties, plus stainless steel liners with friction grooves. It also features CRKT's exclusive patented AutoLAWKS safety, which automatically turns the folder into a fixed blade when the blade is opened and locked.
