Product Info for DMM Pivot Belay Device and Rhino Set

The DMM Pivot Belay Device and Rhino Set, new state-of-the-art belay device caters for modern belay techniques with the latest ropes and features as the name suggests, a pivot. Available now as a set with the recommended Rhino Carabiner. The horn of the Rhino carabiner prevents assisted-locking belay devices from rotating off the top bar and onto the spine, reducing the risk of cross-loading. The large, rounded cross-section of the top bar means greater wear resistance, and smooth operation in guide mode.image

Features of DMM Pivot Belay Device and Rhino Set:

  • Made from aluminum alloy
  • Belay from the harness or a fixed anchor using the guide mode
  • Multi-use lightweight belay device
  • Pivot ensures easy rope control, especially when lowering in guide mode
  • Suitable for ropes from 7.5 mm to 11 mm, Optimized for 8 mm to 10.5 mm
  • Durable belay biner
  • Prevents cross-loading with certain assisted locking belay devices
  • Full cross-section top bar for greater wear resistance and smooth belaying
  • High strength, compact size, low weight
