This system is designed for the carbine tube. It would need a spacer for an A5 tube.

Will this work with a folding stock adapter on a magpul stock? Expert Answer

Yes, this kit should work with those adapters. The kit would be entirely held inside the buffer tube, so there should be no issue using the side folding adapters.

Reduction of recoil is accomplished due to the patented multi-springs and counterweights mechanism. The system produces advanced recoil reduction by gradually slowing down the bolt carrier before stopping in the bottom the tube. Included also are 2 extra buffer springs, 2 counterweight springs and 1 extra heavier counterweight. The user can fine tune the rifle circle and the recoil and further to secure the correct bolt locking.image
