Does it sharpen scissors Expert Answer

I'm not aware of any oil-filled compass that is designed for end-user maintenance - the oil has to be the right viscosity to dampen the movement of the needle, yet not impede the movement.

I would highly recommend contacting the manufacturer for repair if you believe the oil level is low.
