The SpecterDR 1.5-6x Iron Sight Kit is designed as a back-up sight for the SpecterDR 1.5-6x Optic Sight. When running the SpecterDR on a night-time mission, or in any difficult-to-reach area, it is critical that the operator has a clear view of the target and has supplemental aiming points. The primary aiming point can be considered the front sight post, but the backup sight can be considered anywhere on the sight line on the vertical, left, or right side of the sight. Most operators are accustomed to a B.O.D. or MOE sight having both a front and a back sight. Therefore, a BOB sight has a fixed location on the vertical and a variable offset distance from the front sight. This dual-sight configuration will work on all SpecterDR 1.5-6x optical sights.
