This EGW scope mount is as solid as it needs to be. The only issue I had was it was a little long using medium Warne scope rings. The mount over hangs the receiver. I cut off two section of picatinny to keep the objective from hitting the scope mount...

Great mounts purchased 20 MOA picatinny rails for Weatherby .338 Lapua and Winchester 70 in 7mm mag. Now I use one good scope and switch between rifles since ballistics are similar enough to 500 yards. Holds zero on both rifles.
