Is the locking mechanism of the 34 gen 5 the same as thr 19? I don’t care about length. I’ve got a 17 gen 5 barrel that fits my 19 perfectly well. Manufacturer Answer

To the best of our knowledge, the entirety of the Gen 5 9mm pistols (standard frame, not the slim frame) use the same locking geometry on the barrel hood. In our testing, while technically functional, using longer barrels tends to have more stoppages and exhibits poor accuracy.

Bought this for my g47 so i could run my suppressor on it. It ran almost perfect with the stock recoil spring. I did have one light primer strike that shot after being rechambered. Im chaulking it up to just needing to break in the barrel.

Faxon's Match Series Pistol Barrels are conventionally rifled to allow a wider range of ammunition to be used, including cast lead. The barrels drop into factory-spec slides with no gunsmithing required. Better-than-factory tolerances ensure a consistent, tighter lockup than OEM.image

The Faxon Match Series Barrel for G17 GEN 5 is a top-of-the-line upgrade for your Glock 17 pistol. This barrel is designed for maximum performance and accuracy, with a range of features that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of serious shooters. Please note: There is a known issue of compatibility with Faxon Glock pattern barrels and some patterns of Zaffiri Precision slides. This seems to be an issue with ZPS.3v2 and ZPS.6 pattern slides due to the size and placement of the top window on the slide.

And like all Faxon products, this barrel is made in-house in Faxon's Greater Cincinnati, Ohio facility, ensuring the highest levels of quality and precision. It is also backed by the Faxon Lifetime Guarantee, which covers any defects in materials or workmanship for the life of the product.
