Works great and fit and finish were very good. Cannot really see the fluting, but I know it’s there. Allowed me to use a suppressor on an already great gun.
Awesome scope at this price point

Bought the Athlon Ares based on reviews. Even so I was pleasantly surprised at how good this scope is. Better than a vortex pst 2, and pretty close to the vortex razor. Considering it is less than half the cost of the razor, that’s a solid deal. I mention vortex because in my opinion they are the one to beat. Their products have also been high quality and at a strong price point. Athlon has them on this one though.

KNS Precision PERMA Firing Pin Retaining Pin
When my original cotter pin got distorted enough to be difficult to insert, I bought this fancy version thinking it was a low cost but durable replacement. Goes in easily and seemed to fit well, but here I am about 200 rounds later and I have to replace it. For whatever reason, it will not stay in the bcg, and just falls out. Fortunately this didn’t happen during a critical period. I will avoid these in the future and will not recommend them to anyone else.
